The Following is a short summary of what took place at the meeting
Present:
Craig Browning, Anu Chandra, Mark Chapman, Mark Chia, Martin Hill, Neil Irving, Zelda Mason, James McGregor, Jonathan Weir
Mark Chia as treasurer presented a statement of accounts. We have made a small profit this year, and have enough money to enter three teams in the Lothians League next year.
The second team have finished second in division 2 of the Lothians league, winning the option of promotion to division 1. There was some discussion as to whether they should be promoted bearing in mind that 3 first team players are leaving this year. Anu Chandra said that he had been in touch with the league secretary, and this did not need to be decided until the second or third week in October. It was decided to defer the decision until after freshers week when we have a better idea of who will be available to play for us. In the event of the league requiring an earlier decision, the second team will remain in division 2.
The following people were elected to the committee unopposed
A decision was made to offer the post of 1st team captain to Tom Leonard.
The post of webmaster was taken by Martin Hill, with Neil Irving running the web site until Martin finishes his exams.
Also Co-opted on to the committee were Mark Chapman and Zelda Mason.
