The President constituted the meeting at 20:10 and welcomed members to the meeting. She suggested that this years AGM should be less formal, and a forum for ideas for change should they be needed.

President's Report
All that there was to report had already been said by the president...
A statement of accounts was distributed to those present and was approved.
I've no idea why I was picked to be captain being one of the most unorganised people I know. This became clear a few times. Most notably when I turned up 10 minutes late to our first match due to a lost student card. Somehow the team put up with me and we managed to get by.
I was very happy with the team I ended up with in the end. The number of new players who were of 1st team standard gave me a pleasant surprise. In fact I would say this was the strongest university team I’ve ever played in. I was quite certain we would have little difficulty in gaining promotion.
Unfortunately most of these new players were quite out of practice even in comparison to myself (due to the 1st team being dissolved the previous year). An we had a few hiccups losing to teams we shouldn't. However what killed our title challenge in the end was the unfortunate incident (see corespondence) that happened in our match against Wandering Dragons 3 (who finished above us in 2nd place).
Nevertheless I've thoroughly enjoyed playing this year and would like to thank everyone who played.
I'd like to nominate Tris as 1st team captain. He's had an amazing season and I think he would make an excellent captain who isn't afraid to make decisions... I was a little indecisive at times. Also it would mean he'd have to play a lot more which is always going to be a good thing. His record of 6 wins out of 7 with a loss to a 2175 player speaks for itself.
